Gurley signed with the Redblacks on Thursday.

Gurley spent the majority of the past two seasons as a member of the Toronto Argonauts, though he finished last year with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He had a big 2015 season, corralling 58 receptions for 791 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games. The Redblacks will be hoping that Gurley can play at that level going forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley is listed as a starting slotback on the depth chart for Friday's game against the Redblacks.

Gurley did not suit up at all last week, but he will both be in uniform and be part of the starting lineup for the Blue Bombers' regular season finale.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley is inactive for Saturday's game against the Redblacks.

Gurley was removed from the starting lineup earlier this week after Darvin Adams returned from injury but he was still expected to have some type of role on offense. Addison Richards may see some added time off the bench with Gurley out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley is listed as a reserve receiver on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Redblacks.

Gurley will be replaced in the lineup by Darvin Adams, who is returning to action after an extended absence with an arm injury. In a backup role, he may struggle to produce numbers that would make him worthy of inclusion in fantasy lineups this week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley is unlikely to be in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Redblacks, according to Darrin Bauming of TSN 1290.

Gurley started the last game the Blue Bombers played in Week 17, but he has been replaced on the first unit at practice this week by Darvin Adams, who appears ready to return to action after being sidelined since Week 6. Gurley caught a modest three passes for 55 yards in that Week 17 game -- his first since joining the Blue Bombers -- but his production could take a hit if he does not line up with the starters Saturday.

October 15, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley totaled 55 yards on three receptions in his Bombers debut in Friday's 35-32 win over the Lions.

Gurley didn't exactly light up the stat sheet, but still offered modest production overall. The 28-year-old posted 36 catches for 509 yards and five touchdowns over 10 games with the Argos this season, so he's certainly capable of putting up some serviceable numbers once he gets acclimated to the Winnipeg attack. He'll look to further familiarize himself with the playbook during the team's Week 18 bye and could be a sneaky option in the tail end of the campaign and into the playoffs.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley will start at wide receiver Friday against the Lions.

Gurley will make his Blue Bombers debut Friday and immediately play a key role in the team's offense. His five touchdowns on the season ranks second among Winnipeg receivers, and his average of 14.1 yards per reception ranks first, so he could be a threat in the red zone and deep passing game right out of the gate.

October 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley saw extensive action with the starters during Tuesday's practice, Blue Bombers announcer Bob Irving reports.

Gurley did not play in Week 16 after joining the Blue Bombers late in the week, but it appears he is set to make his team debut -- and play a prominent role -- in Winnipeg's next game Friday against the Lions.

October 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley was released by the Argonauts earlier this week due to issues behind the scenes, but he was not out of work for long. Gurley will not make his Blue Bombers debut this week with game day coming just three days after his signing, but he will provide the team another receiving threat down the stretch as Winnipeg looks to lock up a playoff spot.

October 3, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley was released by the Argonauts on Monday, 3DownNation reports.

Gurley was third on the team in receiving yards and first in touchdowns, but trouble in the locker room led the Argonauts to release him and three other wide receivers from the roster Monday. That will not do him any favors as a free agent, but he has 15 touchdowns in 26 career CFL games, so a team in need of receiving help could give him a shot down the stretch.

September 17, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley amassed 31 yards and a touchdown on four receptions in Saturday's 46-29 loss to the Blue Bombers.

The 28-year-old now has four touchdowns in the last three weeks and is on pace to slightly exceed his reception, yardage and touchdown totals from 2015. Gurley continues to serve as an important secondary cog in the Argos attack, a role that hasn't changed with Dan LeFevour behind center.

September 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley caught three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Tiger-Cats.

He's now scored three TDs in the last two games despite catching passes from two different QBs (Ricky Ray and Dan LeFevour). With LeFevour expected to start for the remainder of the season due to Ray's punctured lung, Gurley should continue to be one of the Argos' top weapons on the outside.

September 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley caught eight passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's loss to the Tiger-Cats.

He was fairly quiet last week in his return from a lower body injury suffered in early July, but Gurley certainly appeared to be fully recovered Monday. With Ricky Ray back under center and Diontae Spencer also putting up impressive numbers, the Argos' passing game could be among the league's top units for the remainder of the season.

August 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley (lower body) is listed as a starter for Wednesday's matchup against the BC Lions.

Gurley was recently removed from the six-game injured list, after missing just three games. He'll return to his starting wideout spot opposite Kenny Shaw. In the four appearances he's made this season, Gurley has nabbed 11 receptions for 188 yards and one touchdown.

August 25, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley (lower body) was removed from Toronto's six-game injured list on Thursday.

Gurley had been dealing with a lower-body injury and placed on the injured list prior to the Argonauts Week 6 win over Ottawa. After missing just three games, the team has pulled him from the injured list and he'll return to practice this week, an encouraging sign for the wideout, who had been starting opposite Vidal Hazleton prior to his injury. It's uncertain when Gurley will return to action, but it seems it could be earlier than previously thought.

July 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley (lower body) has been placed on the six-game injured list.

Gurley has been slow to recover from his lower-body injury, and apparently could be out another couple weeks, so the Argonauts decided to place him on the longer of the two injured lists. With Gurley sidelined, Devon Wylie has taken over the starting receiver spot opposite Vidal Hazleton.

July 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Alouettes.

It appeared that Gurley was set to return to action Monday after not playing in last week's game, but he will miss another contest due to his lower-body injury. With Gurley out, Devon Wylie will get the start at wide receiver opposite Vidal Hazelton. Gurley's next chance to play will come July 31 against the Redblacks.

July 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Head coach Scott Milanovich expects Gurley (lower body) to play in Monday's game against the Alouettes, the Toronto Sun reports.

Gurley did not see any action in last week's loss to the Redblacks due to his lower-body injury, but it looks like he will be able to avoid missing any further action. The Argonauts will shed further light on Gurley's status for Monday's game when they release their depth chart the day before.

July 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley did not see any action in Wednesday's loss to the Redblacks due to a lower-body injury, Global News reports.

Gurley was active for Wednesday's contest, but he did not take the field due to his injury. The extent of his setback is not clear, but he will have over a week to recover with the Argonauts not taking the field again until July 25.

July 8, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley totaled 97 yards and a touchdown on his five receptions in Thursday's 25-14 victory over the Lions.

After bringing in 10 touchdowns in 2015, Gurley notched a score for the first time this season, hauling in a pass in the back of the end zone from Ricky Ray in the third quarter. The 28-year-old looks primed for an increasingly important role in the Argos offense in 2016 as he continues developing rapport with Ray.

July 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley was largely quiet in Thursday's 30-17 victory over the Roughriders, notching only one reception, although it was notably for 32 yards.

The sophomore wideout turned in his second straight modest performance to open the 2016 campaign, a season which he came into with considerable expectations after a stellar CFL rookie showing in 2015. Gurley has just 91 yards on six receptions over the first pair of contests, but is averaging 15.2 yards per catch. At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, the 28-year-old certainly has the physical tools to make more of an impact, and his role in the offense figures to expand in the coming weeks as he continues to develop rapport with quarterback Ricky Ray.

June 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gurley caught five passes for 59 yards in Thursday's loss to the Tiger-Cats.

After a big rookie season in 2015 that saw him lead the league in TD receptions with 10, Gurley faces a lot of competition on a young and crowded WR depth chart for the Argos. He had to take a back seat to Vidal Hazelton and Kenny Shaw on Thursday, but better days should be ahead for Gurley.
