Cris Cyborg    UFC    Featherweight
Cyrborg has been cited for battery following an incident with Angela Magana at this past weekend's UFC fighter retreat, Damon Martin of FOX Sports reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Cyborg will not be arrested, but stands to face some type of punishment for the misdemeanor charge. Given that the alleged victim, Angela Magana, continues to taunt Cyborg on social media and claims to have not been hurt, the chances of Cyborg's punishment being severe are slim. Currently, the top 145-pound contender has not been booked for her next fight, but Cyborg remains hopeful to be added to the UFC 214 card on July 29. Any legal consequences stemming from this incident are unlikely to affect that target date, as a worst-case scenario likely involves a fine and/or community service for Cyborg.
Marlon Moraes    UFC    Bantamweight
Moraes signed with the UFC and will debut against Raphael Assuncao in a bantamweight matchup at UFC 212 on June 3 in Rio de Janeiro.

Fantasy Analysis

Moraes grew up alongside lightweight Edson Barboza and has finally made it into the same promotion. The Brazilian is currently 18-4 in his professional career with 13 straight wins. With eight KO/TKOs and five submissions, he'll be looking to begin his ascension up the bantamweight ranks in his debut against Raphael Assuncao, a former top contender.
Vitor Belfort    UFC    Middleweight
Belfort could potentially compete outside of the UFC following his fight against Nate Marquardt at UFC 212 on June 3, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Belfort is lined up for what has been called a "retirement fight" by many, but hanging up the gloves may not necessarily be in "The Phenom's" future. "(I will) leave the UFC, but I'll continue competing," the 40-year-old told Veja Rio, a Brazilian media outlet. There are plenty of promotions overseas that would welcome the well-known veteran, many of which have not outlawed the testosterone replacement therapy that Belfort was forced to stop using when USADA took over UFC drug testing in July 2015. Though it may be in Belfort's best interest to step away from combat sports after 39 professional fights dating back to 1996, one of MMA's most well-respected middleweights of all time doesn't appear ready just yet.
Brandon Moreno    UFC    Flyweight
Moreno will participate in a flyweight bout against Sergio Pettis at UFC Fight Night on Aug. 5 in Mexico City.

Fantasy Analysis

Moreno is coming off a strong submission victory over Dustin Ortiz in his last fight and will be looking to expand his already decent resume against a fierce competitor in Pettis. This could be Moreno's biggest engagement to date, as he will be headlining a Fight Night in his home country with the likely opportunity to become the contender for flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson's title belt.
Sergio Pettis    UFC    Flyweight
Pettis will take on Brandon Moreno in a flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City on Aug. 5.

Fantasy Analysis

Pettis was supposed to fight Henry Cejudo at UFC 211 on May 13, but the fight was cancelled after Cejudo sustained a hand injury prior to the bout. Pettis is riding a three-fight win streak and will have an excellent opportunity to expand his resume during this Fight Night in Mexico City -- the bout will headline the event and the winner will likely be the next contender to take on flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson for the title.
Paul Daley    Bellator    Welterweight
Daley lost to Rory MacDonald via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:45 of Round 2 at Bellator 179 on Friday in London.

Fantasy Analysis

This was obviously going to be an uphill battle for Daley. His defensive wrestling and grappling will always be the weak points in his game. MacDonald never allowed the British fighter to get his offense going. On the ground, Daley defended well for a round, but it was only a matter of time until MacDonald finished via submission. This week there was tension between Daley and fellow Bellator middleweight Michael Page. The promtion will likely try to set that up as a grudge match to sell tickets in England.
