RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Theodorou will face Brad Tavares in a middleweight matchup at The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale on July 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Theodorou comes off two consecutive wins to give him an edge over Tavares, whose record shows equal wins and losses dating back to 2014. However, this encouraging momentum Theodorou is perceived to have is minimum because of his inactivity over the last two years. While he has racked up unanimous decisions in his last two fights, this next match may prove to be a challenge for the young fighter.

Theodorou defeated Cezar Ferreira via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night in Halifax.

Fantasy Analysis

This was a close fight. In the first round, Ferreira was the better striker. He landed the harder shots and probably deserved to win the round. After that, the Brazilian appeared to tire and Theodorou took over. He did not land very often, but he was much more active and continued to come forward. He outworked his opponent and took a controversial decision. Theodorou has now gone 5-1 in the UFC and continues to improve.
Theodorou defeated Sam Alvey via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Ottawa.

Fantasy Analysis

It goes down in the record books as an easy unanimous decision win for Theodorou, but it won't earn him many new fans. Knowing that Alvey has big power and little else, the Canadian spent the majority of the fight trying to ensure that he didn't get involved in a brawl. He was successful, but the result was a fight that was difficult to watch. Theodorou's cardio betrayed him in his last fight against Thiago Santos, but Alvey didn't make him work at all in this one. The end result was a much needed win, but it was an ugly effort all the way around.
Theodorou lost to Thiago Santos via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-29, 27-29) at UFC Fight Night on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Fantasy Analysis

For the first time in his young career, Theodorou was battered. He started fast, clearly winning the first round, but it got progressively worse from there. Considering the amount of punishment he took in Round 3 (which was a 10-8 round for Santos according to two of the judges), it's a minor miracle that he survived to see the final bell. Theodorou was also dealing with a massive cut on his head. Long known for his elite cardio, Theodorou looked exhausted by the time this one was over. Despite the loss, the young Canadian remains a bright prospect in the middleweight division.
Theodorou (-250) is the favorite for his middleweight fight against Thiago Santos that will take place Thursday at UFC Fight Night 80 in Las Vegas.

Fantasy Analysis

Even at 27 years old, Theodorou is considered an up-and-comer in the sport. He's 3-0 in the UFC (two knockouts) and has yet to taste defeat in his professional career. The Canada native will face his toughest test to date in Santos, who is well known for his high leg kicks and has one Performance of the Night bonus under his belt. It will be a strong start to the main card Thursday.
Theodorou is set to face Thiago Santos at UFC Fight Night on December 10 in Las Vegas, MMAJunkie.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

The undefeated Canadian hasn't fought since March. Theodorou won The Ultimate Fighter: Nations last year. Santos will represent the toughest test of his young MMA career.
